I love to teach all ages the clarinet. Music is a wonderful human expression, belonging to everyone, and I love helping develop that in my students. I have taught Gr. 4 to 9 RCM,  and successfully prepared youth for auditions for various youth orchestras, scholarships competitions, and concerto competitions. My RCM students achieve honors regularly testifying to their hard work and my guidance. Whatever you wish to make of clarinet and music I will be happy to be there to guide and teach you to help you reach your goal.

I have a lot of experience with young children and youth. Being part of the opening of minds and abilities to music is truly a joy. The process of growth is one of my passions and witnessing it in my studio everyday is part of what keeps me going. That and the love of music.

If you are an adult just returning to music or have never played, but have always thought you would like to, I can help. I have enjoyed teaching several adults through the years. It is never too late to start a musical instrument. It would be my great pleasure to help you learn. For adults finding time and energy in busy schedules can be difficult, but, if you are ready to do that, the rewards will be great. You don’t have to do it perfectly — relax and enjoy your own pace and progress — before you know it you will be playing and enjoying yourself making music.
